Option 1: Importance of Sportsmanship
“Change of Heart” teaches that sportsmanship is more important than winning by unfair means. Prabhat wanted to win every game and could not accept defeat. He even changed the score during a badminton match. However, Surya’s cheerful attitude made him realise that games are meant to be enjoyed. A true player plays honestly, follows rules, respects opponents and accepts both victory and defeat. This is the real spirit of sports.
Option 2: Bharat’s Culture and Traditions
Unit 5 shows that Bharat is a land of rich culture and traditions. People speak different languages, celebrate different festivals and practise different art forms, yet they live as one nation. Traditional arts such as Aipan, Dhokra, coconut shell craft and Kondapalli toys show the creativity of different regions.
