Subject Overview

Social Science is a compulsory integrated subject in RBSE Class 10. It consists of four disciplines — History, Geography, Political Science and Economics — and is assessed through a single theory paper.

The subject aims to develop historical understanding, geographical awareness, democratic values and basic economic reasoning among students.

Unit-wise Marks Distribution (Official)

According to the RBSE 2025–26 blueprint, the theory paper is of 80 Marks. The weightage is equally divided among the four disciplines:
